Here you can keep up to date with our involvement in Team Spidey

So the season kicked off at Silverstone and was not what the team was expecting....Spidey was riding fast but Spidey 1 was having none of it. The bike had had some changes over the winter but not enough to see such a dramatic change in handling. The bike had a rear shock rebuild over the winter and given more range in its adjustment but this seems to have sent us backwards not forward. Give us a little more track time and the familiar surroundings of Pembrey and all will be well in Team Spidey once again

The three of us (Spidey, big Chris and me) trying to discover were the stability had gone

Well, it all came good in the end. After struggling with handling issues for the first half of the year we finally made a breakthrough at Brands and didn't look back. We clawed our way from being well behind in 3rd in the championship to closing back in and taking 2nd away from Graham Goodyear on his brand new Ducati 1098 in the final round at Thruxton! The small matter of a couple of crashes and an engine blowup were not enough to deter us in the meantime as we have been described by Russell Gardner, NGRRC's commentator, as the best team in the NG paddock! Well we knew that all along didn't we??!!
Roll on 2008, same team, same bike, new colour scheme..............
