Here you can keep upto date with the rehab of the injury

So a few weeks without any weight to be put through the leg turned into six weeks in total and the moment of truth. More x-rays showed that the leg is still broken in some very hard to mend places. The solution is to start loading the leg with weight so that the circulation improves and increases the blood flow to the area. Well to say that i'm a bit nervous about it is an understatement, basically I need to start loading up on a leg which is still broken in two places. Good news is that number is down from eight...

My physio is great, once we had got some understanding about the kind of rehab I wanted and the kind of rehab she said I would be able to manage, we are off and running... Well getting about slowly. The last few weeks have been a real rollercosta. Being such a strong minded person the lows have been hard but the highs have been great.Taking that first step with some weight through the leg was nothing short of scary, reminded me of being a kid and the feeling just before I took my first dive off of the high board, know what I mean?

The rehab is just as much about the mind as it is the body, got to over come both. Well just about to go from two crouches to one and the physio wants me on the treadmill as soon as possible, still got some work to do but I would love to be riding again for the meeting at Brands on the 12 April but if thats not possible then I fully intend to leave my crouches in the doc's office on the 24 April. Got to set yourself some goals...
