This weekend Frontrow were out and about at RAF Odium's riders day. As well as Sian and Gerry, my father inlaw riding, I took my ZX7R out for a play, it's been a while for the old girl but the race track is just were it belongs.

The day was organized by the OMCC which I must say did a great job. As well as two wheels they also had a F1 sidecar outfit. The outfit was powered by a GSXR 1000 engine and open to anyone who wanted a go as passenger. I just had to have a go, the sight of the solo riders braking at the end of the 1.2km long straight and then feeling the sidecar go up another gear and keep accelerating was just amazing. If you are ever able to get a ride in the chair I would highly recommend it.

The G-force from the side car outfit has to be felt to be explained....

Sian who is now well up to speed on her track days spent the day exploring the limits of her latest bike. Sian is a fan of the 400cc bike because of it's light weight and impressive handling so she has now up graded her H model to a very low mileage late L model. The older H model is now being ridden by Gerry, this being only his second track day it was a bit of a eye opener for him just how good a smaller bike can be. On the road Gerry rides a FJR 1300 and ZZR 600 both having far more power but also far more weight. I think the 400 surprised him.

I think the smiles say it all.... Both Gerry and Sian had a great day.

I also took the Benelli for the day, just to show her off really... This young lady was by far the biggest fan of the bike during the day.

Thanks for the nice comments about the bike....

The day was over far to quickly as always, but here's to the next one.
